Mr Toad and Cinderella: Emoji Blitz

Back when I was looking at The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad, I neglected to mention that Mr Toad himself features in everyone's favourite emoji match game.

Mr Toad is a diamond exclusive, released as part of a Food Fight event, and joined a small group of other 'ride-based' emojis (such as the Haunted Mansion trio and the Abominable Snowman).  Toad's power is to drive erratically over the board in his motor car, clearing emojis in his wake.

Cinderella, unsurprisingly, is well represented in the game.  Cinderella, herself, has been there since the early days of the game.  Her power is to place sun power ups on the board (the number of which increases as her level increases).  Joining Cinderella, eventually, were Jaq, Gus and Prince Charming.

Prince Charming is the only one of these emojis I own.  He travels the board looking for whoever fits the glass slipper.  The first time his power is activated, he tries the slipper on Anastasia and clears a small triangle of emojis.  The second time, he tries the slipper on Drizella and clear a similar area of emojis.  The third time and his fits the slipper to Cinderella and not only clears the same triangle of emojis, but also leaves behind a power up.  This sequence then repeats.  My emoji is only Level 1, but at Level 2 it doesn't look hugely different apart from clearing a slightly larger amount of emojis.

Gus's power involves tottering on to the board with a tower of cheese (as he does in the film) and then being chased off by Lucifer with emojis being cleared in their wake.  Gus also leaves behind a gift of an item as his pieces of cheese fall across the board.

Both Charming and Gus were released at part of a Cinderella Item Card Event.

A second Cinderella Item Card Event in April 2020 say the release of Jaq and, most excitingly, a villain diamond exclusive - Lucifer!

Finally, one very special emoji is the Fairy Godmother.  She is only obtainable when players reach Level 200 (with a level up then given at level 250).  The Fairy Godmother, unsurprisingly, places a magical gift of a power up on the board.
